Summer Flushing Program
06/29/17
You may experience a temporary loss of pressure and/or loss of water!
We will be conducting our summer flushing program over the next few days. As we flush, you may experience a temporary loss of pressure and/or loss of water. In addition, residents in the immediate vicinity of the work may experience temporary discoloration of their water. This discoloration consists primarily of harmless silt and precipitates and does not effect the safety of the water. If you experience discoloration in your water after we have been flushing in your area, clear the pipes in your home by running all water faucets for a minute or two, starting with the outside spigots first.
In order to help you plan, we will avoid flushing during the following times:
5:00 AM to 8:00 AM
5:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Please try to plan accordingly to avoid inconveniences.
If you have any questions please contact the Levee Water Office at (859) 498 - 6980.
